b.Wooden Cabinets:
Underbench cabinets will be manufactured from furniture grade WBP plywood laminated with
melamine. Thickness of the plywood used for sides, bottom and top will be 18mm thick and
back will be from 3.2mm thick melamine faced (interior) MDF/ hardboard set into grooves.
Thickness of melamine laminate used for side, bottom & top is 0.9mm. All Exposed sides of the
body will be edged with 0.45mm thick PVC tape using hot melt glue at a temperature of 205
degrees Celsius.
Doors and drawer fronts will be constructed from 18mm thick furniture grade WBP Plywood with 3mm thick PVC edging. These will be laminated with melamine laminate of thickness 0.9mm.
All doors will be fitted with heavy duty corrosion proof snap on self closing hinges that open 165 degrees and can be adjusted for alignment in 4 directions. No door catches or magnets should be used. Hinges should be nickel coated. Drawers will be fitted with epoxy coated steel sides and slide runners with nylon gliders. Doors and drawers will be fitted with Aluminum grab rail polyester powder coated to Engineer's choice of color. Underbench cabinets will be available for standing height and sitting height. These will be available in widths ranging from 450 to 1200mm. Underbench cabinets are supplied with one adjustable shelf. Adjustable shelf will be made of 18mm thick furniture grade WBP plywood laminated on both sides with 0.7mm thick melamine and edged with 0.45mm thick PVC tape. All under bench cabinets will be provided with anti corrosive locks as per drawings and requirements suitable for laboratory conditions.
A fume hood or fume cupboard is a type of local ventilation device that is designed to limit exposure to hazardous or toxic fumes, vapors or dusts. A fume hood is typically a large piece of equipment enclosing five sides of a work area, the bottom of which is most commonly located at a standing work height.
Two main types exist, ducted and re circulating (aka ductless). The principle is the same for both types: air is drawn in from the front (open) side of the cabinet, and either expelled outside the building or made safe through filtration and fed back into the room.
All fume hoods are designed to address one or more of three primary goals: to protect the user
Secondary functions of these devices may include explosion protection, spill containment, and other functions necessary to the work being done within the device.
Laboratory Fume Cupboards will function as an enclosed workspace which will prevent employee exposures by containing the emissions the within the hood and controlling them effectively.
Continuously monitors flow based on internal fume hood pressure and has field adjustable set points that will activate the alarm signal
A bio safety cabinet (BSC) — also called biological safety cabinet or microbiological safety cabinet — is an enclosed, ventilated laboratory workspace for safely working with materials contaminated with (or potentially contaminated with) pathogens requiring a defined bio safety level.
The primary purpose of a Bio Safety Cabinet is to serve as the primary means to protect the laboratory worker and the surrounding environment from pathogens. All exhaust air is HEPA- filtered as it exits the bio safety cabinet, removing harmful bacteria and viruses. This is in contrast to a laminar flow clean bench, which blows unfiltered exhaust air towards the user and is not safe for work with pathogenic agents. Neither are most BSCs safe for use as fume hoods. Likewise, a fume hood fails to provide the environmental protection that HEPA filtration in a BSC would provide. However, most classes of BSCs have a secondary purpose to maintain the sterility of materials inside (the "product").
A laminar flow cabinet or laminar flow closet or tissue culture hood is a carefully enclosed bench designed to prevent contamination of semiconductor wafers, biological samples, or any particle sensitive device. Air is drawn through a HEPA filter and blown in a very smooth, laminar flow towards the user. The cabinet is usually made of stainless steel with no gaps or joints where spores might collect.
Such hoods exist in both horizontal and vertical configurations, and there are many different types of cabinets with a variety of airflow patterns and acceptable uses.
Laminar flow cabinets may have a UV-C germicidal lamp to sterilize the shell and contents when not in use. (It is important to switch this light off during use, as it will quickly give any exposed skin sunburn and may cause cataracts.)
The spot exhaust arm comes with friction joints designed for use in worksites where great flexibility is required, e.g. laboratories & production environments in lighter industrial applications.
The friction joints, which have a large frictional diameter, are supported on all bearings. The degree of friction is easily adjusted by using a large, one-hand knob. Adapted support springs balance out the weight of the arm. All arms are equipped with a 360 degree rotational swivel mounted in place.
An air tight damper is fitted as standard.
a. Solvent Storage:
Protect workers, reduce fire risks and improve productivity by storing hazardous liquids in code
compliant safety cabinets. Designed to meet US OSHA and NFPA standards, Solvent Storage
cabinets are constructed of sturdy 1 mm double-wall, welded steel with 38 mm of insulating
air space for fire resistance. High performance, self-latching doors close easily and securely for
maximum protection under fire conditions. Fail-safe closing mechanism ensures three-point
stainless steel bullet latching system works the first time, every time.
b. Chemical Storage:
Chemical Storage Cabinets come in standard 114, 170 and 227 litre sizes. All models have the
same quality features as flammable cabinet, including double-wall construction, dual vents,
earthing wire connections, adjustable shelves, leak proof sills, three point self-latching doors
and leveling feet. To resist aggressive chemicals, acid cabinets also include polyethylene trays attached to galvanized steel shelves and a separate polyethylene liner for the bottom sump.
The liner can be removed for easy cleaning of drips and leaks. The popular 114 litre two-door
cabinet also includes an extra polyethylene top work tray which can be secured to cabinet top
for a handy work surface. An all epoxy baked-on powder-coat finish, inside and out, provides
increased chemical resistance. Paint is exclusively formulated to resist the acids, bases and
solvents often used in laboratories.
Tall Cases maximize vertical storage space. Available in a variety of widths and depths, tall cases are available without doors or with sliding or swinging doors in solid, framed or unframed glass. Instrument cases, film storage cabinets and wardrobe cases also are available for the special storage needs in your laboratory.
Slotted angle shelving is a versatile system best suited for storage of small components, bins, cartons having light loads up to(300 Kg's) level is available with the following options.
Options:
Balance tables will be specially designed to place electronic and most advanced type of balances inside the lab room.
The grossing workstation provides a multi featured ergonomic, safe & practical work area for grossing of samples. All features are within easy reach while harmful formalin fumes and odors are efficiently drawn away from the operator leaving a safe, clean, bright and odor-free environment.
The Overhead Service Carrier delivers plumbed and wired services from above, minimizing floor penetrations. Available in widths from 24" to 72". May be ganged end-to-end for a continuous run, or with the addition of connection assemblies multiple configurations can be created.

Service valves, needle valves, fine control needle valves and ball valves. Made of forged-brass and finished in a white powder coat, these fixtures provide superior performance and elegant styling. The finish on fixtures is epoxy/polyester hybrid. The epoxy component provides superior chemical resistance while the polyester assures mar and abrasion-resistance and U.V. stability. All faucets incorporate the same internal construction as is used on standard products. They also include an interchangeable, renewable unit containing all working components. This unit has a thermoplastic valve disc which closes against a stainless steel seat. Goosenecks are fabricated of 3/8" IPS heavy wall brass tubing for maximum strength, and are available in a wide range of spreads and heights. Both fixed and swivel spouts are available.
HVAC stands for "heating, ventilation, and air conditioning". HVAC is sometimes referred to as "climate control" and is particularly important in the design of medium to large industrial, laboratories and office buildings, where humidity and temperature must all be closely regulated whilst maintaining safe and healthy conditions within.
